Boss’s Bad Business Decisions Hurt

I work at a health food, fitness, and supplements store (won’t say the chain or where) and my boss has started his own coupon program to distribute health coupons around town. I don’t think it’s a good idea, because when a customer comes in, I notice they save a HEAP on whatever they buy. I know what some things cost us from the suppliers, and on the items he’s chalked up for discounts, we’re definitely losing money. I’m just the clerk, so I don’t think it’s my place to tell him his ideas are bad. But jeez! The health coupons ruin every sale they’re involved in. Maybe he knows better, like it’s outweighed by the other things they buy in the same shopping trip that are unaffected by the coupons, or it ensures customer loyalty or something. At least not a lot of people seem to be bringing them in, but most people who come in with health coupons just seem to buy the discounted things and take off. They’re taking advantage of his genius plan, and I’m SURE we’re losing money.

I love ladders because they’re part of my childhood life. They are also among my favorite equipment or tools in the household. Loft ladders are among my favorite ladders because I love attics.
